California RCFE Licensing

Get Your California RCFE Facility Licensed Without the Guesswork

We compile your entire application, handle corrections, and guide you through the Department of Social Services approval process.

From Kamil

We compile the full application. You sign it and mail it out. If the state requires corrections, that is included in our service.

The basics
What is an RCFE?
A Residential Care Facility for the Elderly serves California adults ages 60 and above. It requires licensing through the Department of Social Services (DSS) and compliance with Title 22 regulations.
Who this is for
Your situation, handled.
Whether you are starting fresh or managing a transition, the licensing path is different for each scenario.

Opening a new facility

Starting from scratch and need to know what the state requires before you can accept your first resident.

Buying an existing facility

Purchasing a licensed facility and need to transfer or apply for a new license under your ownership.

Expanding capacity

Adding beds or changing your facility type and need to update your license accordingly.

Selling or transferring

Preparing your facility for sale and need the documentation and licensing ready for the transition.

Three steps to success
Clarity. Documents. Execute.
We follow the same proven process for every licensing engagement.
1

Clarity

We confirm your scenario, timeline, and what the state will require. You leave with a clear picture of the full path.

2

Documents

We compile every form, clearance, and supporting document into a complete application packet. Nothing left to guess.

3

Execute

You sign and mail the packet to DSS. If corrections come back, we handle those too. Typical timeline is 4 to 6 months.

What to expect
Common requirements at a glance.
These are the categories DSS evaluates. We handle the compilation of all of them.

Common questions.
Do you also help with ARF licensing?
Yes. We process RCFE, ARF, and ALW applications. This page focuses on RCFE.
Can you do ALW at the same time?
Yes. We can concurrently apply for your ALW application during the same time we compile your RCFE application, so you do not lose time.
What does "we compile the full application" mean?
We gather, organize, and format every document the state requires. We build the complete packet. You review it, sign it, and mail it. If corrections are needed from the state, we assist you with them within a 72-hour turnaround.

Our RCFE Licensing Package is $2,500, a one-time flat fee. That covers the full application, document checklist, corrections assistance, and direct access to Kamil. No hidden fees and no hourly billing.

No. The $990 state filing fee is paid separately to Community Care Licensing Division when you mail your application.
